The Lakefront at Little Elm is a family-friendly entertainment district on Lewisville Lake, and it's the center of the town's dining. More than twenty restaurants sit in and around it, and free Efrogs electric-cart shuttles run between them, so you can hop from lunch to a drink without driving.

It's an unusual setup for a suburb — a walkable, lakeside cluster of places to eat and hang out — and it's what makes Little Elm feel like a destination rather than just a bedroom community.

Right at the water, the Lakefront Grill serves burgers, tacos, and cold drinks — the easy lunch spot after a morning at the beach. For barbecue, Tender Smokehouse is known for its brisket and fall-off-the-bone ribs.

An Austin-inspired beer garden overlooks Hydrous Wake Park with craft beer on tap and crispy wings, pairing food and drink with a view of the wakeboarders. It's casual, lake-town eating done well.
