Pittsburg, the Camp County seat, is the home of the Pittsburg hot link, a spicy beef sausage first made here in 1897. You can still eat one downtown. Around the square and along Greer Blvd (US-271) there are also cafés, barbecue, a steakhouse and a long list of Mexican kitchens.

The Pittsburg hot link dates to 1897, when Charlie Hasselback started making it in town. Today the Pittsburg Hot Link Restaurant at 136 W Marshall St downtown serves the town's namesake links, along with burgers and Southern plates.
Downtown Square
Madeline's Cafe on Quitman St serves breakfast, lunch, coffee and desserts. It's named in memory of Madeline Warrick. The Salt Co opened on the square at 146 Quitman St in late 2024. On Jefferson St, Scoops Chicken Salad Market sells chicken salad by the scoop, and LalaPop's serves coffee and ice cream.
Barbecue, Steaks and Home Cooking
Racks & Daqz on N Greer Blvd is the Willis brothers' barbecue operation, founded in 2015, with daiquiris and axe throwing. Herschel's on S Greer Blvd is a family-style East Texas restaurant known for chopped steak, burgers and cobbler. Angus Grille opened on N Greer Blvd in 2024 and serves steaks with a full bar.
Tex-Mex and Taquerias
Papa Nachos on S Greer Blvd has run since 1996 and has a full bar. Peraltas, also on S Greer Blvd, has been open since 2009 and is known for lunch plates like crispy tacos with queso. For tacos, there's Daysi's Taqueria y Mariscos on Arch Davis Rd (since 2013), Antonio's Tacos on Lafayette St (since 2020) and Taqueria Las 3 Monedas on Clayton St (since 2021). Antojitos Juanita opened on N Greer Blvd in fall 2025.
