Where to Eat in Weatherford, Texas

Mesquite Pit is the town's best-known restaurant — a mesquite-grilled steakhouse and barbecue joint doing steaks, brisket, pork ribs, smoked sausage, and cheeseburgers, with a relaxed, country-style feel. It's one of the highest-rated places in Weatherford and a reliable choice for a hearty meal.

For a proper steak dinner, Beefmaster Steakhouse is another local option, keeping with the beef-forward character of a ranching town.

The courthouse square is where Weatherford's more polished dining sits. Fire Oak Grill is a favorite on the square for a nicer meal, and Zeno's on the Square adds another sit-down option right in the historic center.
